Nuclear Instruments & Methods in Physics Research, Section B 154, pp 25-31 (1999) This work reviews recent progress in the analytical treatment of correlated few-body Coulomb continuum systems. Appropriate curvilinear coordinates for the representation of such systems are discussed and their usefulness is demonstrated. Approximate methods for dealing with the short-range dynamics are briefly discussed.
